They are mixed into the fertilizer in different ratios depending on what aspect of plant growth they are trying to promote. Nitrogen is used in making proteins and chlorophyll and tends to promote the growth of leaves and stems. Use it in the vegetable garden to promote leaf growth on such things as lettuce or cabbage. Phosphorus is the middle number and it is used throughout the plant, but it is especially useful in promoting new flowers, which on vegetable crops means more fruit.

Potassium is used throughout the plant, but does help promote flowers and roots. A lawn fertilizer should typically have a ratio of around or or Your fertilizer has a ratio of 3.

I'm not a professional but I have studied, researched theory, and worked with paint on my own for years. First thing I'd say is that they is no way you can pick out paint colors for the exterior of a house unless you know what region of the U.

A gray that's beautiful in Portland, Oregon isn't going to look good on a house in Florida. I wish all these people that live in Florida knew that. You have the correct undertones to deal with the harsh sun in Florida. Battleship gray doesn't work. Any color you choose be sure to paint a large patch on the side of the house before you paint the whole thing. Look to see if it looks grayed out and muddy. Or way too saturated with color.

A peachy color on a small swatch at the paint store will look totally different on a whole house. Like the lady in a subdivision where I use to live who decided she wanted a shell pink house and ended up with pepto bismal pink. And expensive lesson, since the HOA made her repaint it.

Florida, at least Central Florida, is terrible with this style of mediterrean architecture. Those huge columns and arches on these mide size homes are so over powering. I feel it's best to try to stay monochromic with color choices as not to highlight all the columns, archs and do-daddy styrofoam trim they put all on one house.

It's not easy choosing exterior paint color there a lot of things to consider. Just make sure to invest in paint samples. Small house remodel - just can't get everything we want Q. Thank you. Yes trying to think outside the box and make the best use of our existing space. I love the ideas that have been thrown out. I really hadn't put much consideration into the idea of a table in place of an island or a dual counter height island with attached table.

I think those could both be great solutions for us. I am a little scared of by how modern most of the examples I find are but I'll keep looking. Havingfun those are my exact ideas with what to do with the laundry in the bathroom. My partner thinks we might be better served with space to work if the laundry is in the kitchen.

I'm still pushing for the bathroom to have a door we can close. I am definitely leaning towards large french doors in the middle of the back wall, potentially even 12ft double sliders. Thanks again to everyone who commented. This was a really helpful brainstorming exercise before we meet with our designer again.

I truly appreciate all the ideas. Just can't get that feeling Q. Yes Mo mad--Costco has these rugs in four different colors. The distressed look. But I am in Ontario Canada so I don't know what your local store would have.

Thanks Jay Apple. Ammonium phosphates and super phosphates should not be mixed with lime, slag, rock phosphate or CAN. Potassium chloride and sulfate of potash can be mixed with most fertilizers, but mixtures of these fertilizers with urea and calcium ammonium nitrate should not be stored. CAN should not be mixed with basic slag but can be mixed with urea, single superphosphate, and ammonium phosphates immediately prior to application.

Do not store fertilizers in damp or dirty places.
